The ticket was paid for. It just wouldn’t load.

March 2026. Hong Kong. My daughter’s first birthday.

My wife, our one-year-old and I are at the entrance to the Victoria Peak Tram. The tickets are booked and paid for, sitting in an app on my phone. The app won’t open, because I have almost no signal.

The person at the gate is waiting, and I’m staring at a loading screen.

That wasn’t the only problem on that trip. It was just the one I couldn’t scroll past. Weeks of articles and YouTube videos before we flew. Every night in the hotel, more research for the next day: where to book Disneyland, whether the early entry pass or the express pass is worth it, how to do the park with a baby. Bookings spread across different apps, each with its own login and loading screen.

None of it was hard on its own. Together, it took over the trip.

So I built the app I wished I’d had

Your tickets open with no signal. Forward a booking on WhatsApp or add it in the app. Everything for your trip is saved on your phone, ready at the gate.

Research done once, not a hundred times. Visa rules, forex, UPI, SIM cards, getting from the airport, and how to do the big attractions, all written for Indian passport holders and checked against official sources.

One place for the whole trip: tickets, itinerary, checklist and passport. That’s where the name comes from: trip + kosh, a treasury for your trip.
