Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

The UAE's most beautiful building and it isn't close: 82 white domes, 1,000+ columns inlaid with mother-of-pearl, the world's largest hand-knotted carpet and a 12-tonne chandelier. Entry is free with a mandatory online registration, and the dress code is strictly enforced — respectfully done, it's a genuinely moving visit for any faith.
