The island 45 minutes off Sanur has the cliffs Bali's postcards are made of: Kelingking's T-Rex headland, the collapsed sea cave at Broken Beach, Angel's Billabong's rock pool and Crystal Bay's snorkelling. Roads are rough and the sites are spread out, so a day trip is a 6am start, a fast boat each way and a driver in between. Tiring, spectacular, and worth one full day — not a half.
